These posters are great! If you have seen the movie then you know exactly what they mean. This makes them highly collectable and the style that they are designed in makes them easy to decorate with in your home no matter what your style is. This is a perfect way to still get people interested in a movie from the past.

Work Beer Design

The design for Work Beer is perfect. It's simplistic and has a fresh young feel to it. The design of the Work bottle carries throughout the whole brand and reminds me of the new design for tools you see in hardware stores today. So the name and design go together great.

Great Design

It's nice, eye-catching, and simple. The colors work great together and the typography is excellent! I love how they photographed them too. There is nothing in the background that takes away from the pieces but it isn't the same old white background that you see constantly.

Very Nice work! The poster is excellent and goes right a long with the ticket design. It's laid out well, has a simple design, and totally gets it's message across to it's viewers. This makes me want to attend and should do the same for all.

Target Practice Design

This is sad but funny at the same time. While I am not a big hunter this "target" makes hunting humorous. Especially when the tail has "taunt" on it. The design is simple but gets the point across perfectly.

A nice clean package and logo design for Northern Spring. The logo and package design is fun and clean which is what it should be since it's water. I wouldn't drink it if it was in a brown bottle.

V8 Packaging

These are nice, clean, and inviting. I'm not a huge fan of V8 but these make me want to try it. Which means the packaging is perfect!

The illustrative aged packaging is a great example of how design works. These products are still for sale today and to be honest besides the camera the packaging here still works.

Nice posters and I like the way he combined the photography with illustration. They could have cropped out the popsicle stick but I like the way it's pieced together. Also the type is awesome.

Amazing Calendar

This is an awesome idea. I love the play on burning time and the fact that the calendar enforces the idea that you can go back. I want one! The design is simple but very intriguing. The only downfalls are highly flammable and kids can't be around them.

New Chiquita stickers, that I quite like.

Old Chiquita stickers that I also quite like.

Chiquita has a great design even though the design is very small. It has been around for ages and by changing the simple sticker it changes the whole design(because the design is a sticker). The sticker design and shape are easily recognizable. The other thing I like that Chiquita does is they make the design a part of the product. They have done this before as seen above and I would love to have gotten my hands on the old Olympics designs. I will definitely be looking for the new stickers. Also they have a campaign going to collect the stickers and if you haven't seen the site it is a must see. chiquita.com

This is an example of simple but very well crafted branding. You can tell that all these items are for the same business because of the connection of type and how easily the colors flow. They have a through-back style of design that gives the design a almost retro feel but at the same time by using type they give it a modern feel that works great in this day and age. While I'm not sure on what agency is responsible for this, I believe they did an excellent job.

Lord of the Flies new design

These new designs for Lord of the Flies are by Sam Weber. Sam Weber is an exceptional artist. You can see how great he is in some of the illustrations for the book. But what I love is how simple the cover is and how much it gets across with the cracked lens. It show's just how man and child can lose touch with reality and crack. It also could symbolize how the kids split into two groups, one group that has literally cracked and became more savage and the other group that is fighting to stay sane or civilized. If you like the book then you'll love the new design but if you've never read you won't get the design until after you read it. But the design is visually engaging to make anyone pick it up. Making this design a success to me. I want one now.

This is a great way to get people to come to your wedding. I love the fact that it looks great but also has a meaning. In design today there is a problem with everything looking great but it's meaning get's lost. I know it's only a wedding design but it's a great example of the meshing of a good meaning and great design.

WWF spends a lot of time advertising these days. I like the fact though that they are taking a cause that is serious not only to us but for them too(to be spending tons of money on ads) and using funny situations. This shows us that hopefully none of these situations would ever happen in an emergency and that the problems of the earth are happening everyday and are an emergency.

Linkin Park Gig Posters

When looking at Gig posters I found that Linkin Park has quite a few good ones in their collection. Then I found out that one of the singers actually has had a couple of art shows and he gives a portion of the sells to a scholarship fund he founded for art students.
